"We all enjoy our 2 nights at the hotel. The room was had plenty of room and it was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A good variety on the breakfast buffet daily. The only negative thing is that we were disappointed that the outdoor pool was not open especially with the hot weather. But we will definitely stay here again on our next trip to NC"

"My job requires your round travel, but I must say I have never stayed at a motel. That was more eager to provide us with everything we ask, even though the motel is not ultra modern, it has a quaint warm feeling to it. I would definitely recommend this place and if I’m in the area, that is where I will stay."

"We had a very negative check-in experience at another property somewhere else in the South Boston area . . . we stayed there just one night. We were very lucky on a Memorial Day weekend to have a room available at the Fairfield for the remainder of our planned stay. Excellent!"
