「Arrived after 300 mile drive, greeted by friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. Would like more bench or luggage rack for bags to sit on. Pleasant & quiet stay.」

「Perfect for the hunter or fisherman. No elevator though so humping gear upstairs can be annoying after a long excursion. Louis restaurant, which is attached to the hotel serves up wonderful Alaskan meals. Expect to get well fed.」

「This place is amazing. The owners are very kind and accommodating. The “Yurt” is so awesome. We stayed for six nights and we will definitely go back. 」

「Stayed here for two nights in September. Was very close to everything and had a very nice fire pit in the backyard! Cabin had ample cooking options and pots, pans and utensils. Quite a bit of traffic noise at night but didn’t notice with windows closed. Did see the Aurora here as well! Owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Short drive to the Kenai Peninsula. Would definitely recommend!」

「Stayed at The Cannery because it would be close for some fishing along the river. On the day of check in, getting to the site was confusing. There were two gates, both of them being closed. The gate with the sign for The Cannery was closed with a keypad」

「Not a wonderful experience but not horrible. This was NOT a waterfront cabin, more like a modular home built on a dirt road. Zero amenities. No waterfront except a puddle on the dirt road. Unfinished trim. Cheaply done. Construction debris all over outside. Beds not even on frames, just old pallets. Most pictures on hotels.com are not of actual property. Great vision for the future but very misrepresented at current condition. 」
