"Room was clean and comfortable. Decor needs a freshen up. Stain on carpet, marks on walls and curtains. Issue with toiletries, spoke with staff who were helpful but the lack of toiletries should not affect a guests' stay. "

"The front desk and restaurant staff were amazing and had excellent customer service! They truly made our stay enjoyable. The rooms were nice and clean. The beds were very soft, clean, and comfortable. Both rooms had a bathtub/shower but 1 drain was clogged enough to fill above our feet while having a shower. And although it was cold outside, the rooms were very hot and it was difficult to cool them down even with the radiator turned off and windows open. We would stay again as it was a decent price and although we weren’t able to use the spa/pool facilities, they looked fantastic. We did plan to swim but were told our 13 year old child couldn’t swim past 8pm. That didn’t work with our late 7pm arrival. The cleanliness of the hotel and the customer service of staff is why we rated our stay a 4/5. "

"Hotel was superb, room spotless and reception staff couldn’t have been better. A nice stay, but the worst chicken tikka masala hands down I’ve ever had. I never expected it to be more than good, but at £16.95 it was tepid, one piece of chicken wasn’t cooked properly and overall mediocre at best. Too tired to make a fuss but it was worth putting in the review. Other than that a great hotel and I’d definitely stay again. "

"Check in was challenging. Receptionist was obviously new. That’s absolutely fine but she was clearly struggling and there were another two staff members who could have easily and should have stepped in but didn’t until asked. Final straw was when I asked for clarification of complete confusion re payment. She said “ I think so”. Longest check in ever. Doubt very much I’ll stay at the Moxy again. Still not sure about payment till I see my statement. "
