"Room was ok and spacious but a bit tired in places. The spa was good big pool but the jaccuzi was not great and the showers in the changing rooms not good and smell. The breakfast was extra £16.50 per person and not a great choice, not the staffs fault they were great. "

"Enjoyed my stay, I think I should have gone for a bigger room, my single room was devoid of character , no plug in the sink, shower control was not in good condition. The hotel itself is lovely, friendly staff and delicious meals, would definitely stay there again. "

"Mattress and pillows were the worst part about the stay, the mattress was thin and compressed so hard it was impossible to sleep on the side as it was like sleeping on the bed base. Pillows were either hard and lumpy or no substance to them. I’ve left with very little sleep and bad neck and back. On arrival the WiFi was down and the lift didn’t work. Bathroom smelt of urine so strong I was avoiding using it. The carpet was sticky and thread bare in places. General cleanliness and condition of the room left a lot to be desired. There was a power cut during my stay, not the hotel’s fault, but no emergency lighting in the bedrooms. Which meant being sat in the dark for hours, there was lighting in the corridors, this should be expected in the rooms too for safe navigation to the bathroom."

"Great location and very clean. Parking spot available in secure lot under the apartments. It has a combination washer/dryer, but it took about 6-8 hours to complete one load. Apartment is up one flight of stairs. "

"No complaints at all about the property it was spotless and in a perfect location. Parking was secure and well organised. Our only compliant is that we checked out over a week ago and have still not received a refund of the deposit by bank transfer as promised even though we were informed it was being paid. We stay in a lot of holiday lets with refundable deposits and have never had to use a bank transfer system before. Using a credit card guarantee is in our view far better as bank transfers are cumbersome and cause extra work for both parties."

"Lovely bright and airy 2 bed apartment with balcony. Great location opposite the park with a few minute walk into Gloucester centre and quays. Very clean with good amenities apart from lacking a dishwasher .. which on this occasion was not a problem for us as we only stayed 2 nights and eat out. Easy parking in property’s own car park. Did ask about parking for an extra car but wasn’t too happy about the location or tidiness of this as looked run down with rubbish and nails etc on the ground so did not use. "
