Pigduck was born in 1999. Pigduck is hybridi of marzipan piglet and rubber duck. (hight 5 meter and length 7,5 meter).

In April 2019 it had the honour to be named to official cityanimal of Turku, Finland. It`s designed by Alvar Gullichsen, who is known of his pop art.

"The hotel staff was friendly and helpful in all aspects of my stay. The room was suoer clean and modern. Only thing I would change was the pillows but I am a fussy sleeper so.. The location was perfect for me for visiting a relative in TYKS; 5mins walk across the road. The bistro within the hotel was top class-food was amazing quality and the staff again very lovely. It was easy walk to city centre, took me anout 20mins on snowy well kept pathways. The corner shop opposite (K market) was also good to have nearby. Will definetly return! "

"We were almost mauled by a Belgian Malinois that was let loose on our level we were staying at. Messaged the property, however no response or acknowledgement of message/email. A very scary situation for tourists considering no pets are allowed on the property. "
