"We stayed at Fuori Porta House for 4 nights with friends. We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed a welcome drink and snacks on the terrace which was a lovely surprise. The room was clean and very comfortable and the air conditioning was so needed as it was so hot. The best part of our stay in Bergamo were the friendly staff in the hotel. They made our stay. They even made up breakfast bags for us to take away on our last day with cute little messages on. We will definitely return to this friendly little gem of a hotel"

"Very clean, beautiful apartment with everything we needed. Location was perfect right in the heart of the historic area! We loved having the windows open to hear the church bells and chatter of people out walking. Shopping, food and sights were right on our doorstep and staff were very helpful. We were not expecting housekeeping, which was a nice surprise and breakfast was superb! There were a fair amount of steps up to our apartment, so that might be something for others to consider."

"Lovely hotel in the heart of Alta Città. Staff were very friendly and the accommodation was clean and well maintained. The funicular railway is very near and therefore easy to get to the accommodation. Only downside is no air-conditioning but has a ceiling fan and is safe to leave windows open. Really good hotel."

"This was a fabulous hotel to spend 3 nights in Bergamo. It’s right at the top above the old town and not the easiest to get to but well worth the effort. The views were amazing. Room was clean and comfortable. The only gripe was the air conditioning didn’t work very well so it was a bit hot at night. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent. We ate at the restaurant one evening and enjoyed a lovely meal in a great garden setting. Amazing wine list! The funicular down to the old town was only a five minute walk. It’s a shame there was no swimming pool but you can’t have everything! All in all not the cheapest hotel to stay in Bergamo but possibly the nicest. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay there again. Can highly recommend it."
