Safe and cute neighborhood. Really close to the Palace of fine Arts (a beautiful place to visit). We enjoy our stay, and definitely recommend it. "

"Breakfast consists of granola bars and bananas. Chose this thinking that breakfast would be one less meal we would need to pay for while there. Ended up walking to Noah's Bagels every morning."

"The room had a laminate hardwood floor that gave the impression that it was clean and as a result I found nothing objectionable. The ice machine outside was broken and it looked like it was broken for a considerable period of time. The lobby had a tiny ice machine which filled only one cup of ice. If you have a car you better check in early as parking is extremely limited. The location of the hotel offers great shopping and restaurant selection as it is on the north side of Lombard Street just one block from Chestnut which is a happening street in the Marina. I was traveling for business hence my needs are minimal which is a quiet room and a comfortable bed and although I was in the “basement” or 1st floor facing the parking lot it was surprisingly quiet. If you are looking for a budget hotel for a night or maybe two I think you would not be unhappy with this no frills establishment. "
