"Pics are deceiving… the pool was closed at 6 pm, not 7 as they say. The beach is accessible through a steep hill (no stairs) and the elderly will barely make it. Resort needs more renovations. Nothing but small towns/villages around, no walking paths. You’re pretty much locked in the hotel. Food was good but the choice was limited like in Cuban hotels. No evening entertainment programs. "Ok stay, but some details did not match a 5-star luxury suite experience Overall, our stay was okay, and there were some very positive aspects. The service at the outdoor restaurant was great, and the spa service was exceptional. That said, considering this is a 5-star hotel and the Pomegranate Suite is presented as a luxury/high-end room, there were several details that could be improved. We had just spent a week at Sani Dunes, and the contrast was noticeable. A small touch such as fresh flowers, which is usually expected in this type of room, was missing. The QR code for ordering food from the room did not work and showed a “page not found” error. Some areas of the room also felt outdated, with a few items appearing broken, rusty, or worn. The bedroom could also benefit from modernization, especially as there was nowhere convenient to charge a phone. In addition, there appeared to be a water leak under one of the bathroom sinks, as we found a wet towel with a stain on it. The hotel has strong potential, and some areas provide excellent service, especially the spa. However, in other areas, the service felt less warm and not as service-oriented as expected for a hotel of this level."

They have created a great holiday experience outside of the busier towns for those who are looking to relax and enjoy their time in Halkidiki on their terms. "Sad to say the hotel stay was substandard. We booked two nights hoping for a solid 4 star hotel as advertised. We got a room and noticed some mold on the AC. When we asked to leave and get our money back, we were refused. We deiced to stay. Once we looked closer the mold turned out to be much worse than originally thought. Bathroom was affected by mold too and the visible parts of drain pipes were very dirty. It was fifty beyond what words could describe. See photos attached (if possible, I want to include these. I did provide the photos to Expedia for their review). Next morning we asked to leave again and get our money back. Again refused by the hotel. We were told that the hotel could only offer us a different room. We told the staff that even if we are given a different room for a second night, we feel that our health was compromised by staying at the room that first night. We did not want to risk any further and decided to leave the hotel, although no refund was offered for the room. We were honestly amazed at how unwilling the hotel staff and management was to do anything meaning about the matter. Expedia also tried to get them to agree to give us a refund considering our experience with the room and the mold. Expedia was very good and supportive in so many ways, unlike the hotel. Please make your own conclusions if you desire to stay at a hotel like this. My wish is that the Greek authorities would also be aware of what this “four” star hotel is offering their guests "
