I appreciated the size of the twin single room as a solo traveller. The area is beautiful and the cafe attached to the hotel was full of freshly baked tasty treats.

Much better than my expectation. The hotel was very clean and the restaurant was nice. It has a great location. If there’s any other chances to visit this area, I’ll definitely choose here again.

I highly recommend Sangsangmadang Chuncheon Stay if you’re looking for a hotel in Chuncheon. This hotel offers a unique atmosphere, blending a trendy, artsy vibe with galleries, design shops, and performance venues. It showcases contemporary and indie artwork, along with design goods from local artists, making it a perfect stay for those who appreciate creativity and culture. One of its standout perks is the free laundry service available in the basement—a thoughtful touch for long-term travelers. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Café Street and just steps away from a beautiful lake, providing both convenience and scenic views. If you’re looking for a stylish and inspiring place to stay in Chuncheon, this hotel won’t disappoint.

Worst hotel

Everything went wrong with this hotel. Our rooms were on the 4th floor, where there is no elevator access and the AC were not working in either rooms.
