Good room. Great staff. Excellent location. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Hotel is conveniently located near Hoan Kiem lake. Fortunately, the location also avoids a lot of the traffic and noise. Room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved out stay at the Splendid Premium. The staff was exceptionally caring, friendly helpful - everybody at the Splendid went above and beyond. I cannot stress that enough, they made us feel very welcome. Really everybody - across front desk, bell desk, breakfast, rooftop bar, spa, and so on. The location is excellent - it's right in the Old Quarter (which we later learned is the most expensive real estate in all of Vietnam - yet the hotel price was reasonable); lots of activities in walking distance, or a short ride from there. Breakfast selection was great, with some daily variations. We went to the Spa a few times, they knew what they're doing. Slight knock down (4 vs 5 stars) on 'condition and facilities'... it was fine, however if you expect a western hotel standard you may be a bit disappointed (room was rather dark with lack of view, and pool was cold); however, as noted before, this place is in Hanoi's Old Quarter, so that needs to be taken into context. Allover excellent stay, and we would go there again.
