We really enjoyed staying at Sudima Hotel in Christchurch. The hotel is only a few blocks from the expansive Hagley Park where I enjoyed running and walking. The staff was very friendly, attentive and informative. The attached restaurant, Lane, was excellent for dinner and our morning coffee. We did use the freely available Total Fitness Gym which was within two blocks of the hotel and this offered more than the standard hotel gym. The rooms were modern and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel while staying in Christchurch.

Room spotless bed and sheets nice. Welcome was fabulous because the staff member was very warm and personable great sense of humour. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but it was upon leaving.. yes I was hungover (my hens night) but I had a lot of stuff to carry and two staff members could see that.. I just felt like helping me with my belongings was an after thought. I asked for help and got it in the end but it felt a little awkward because clearly I was struggling. All in all it was a good stay! Loved that valet parking! Was soo good on that rainy weekend!

Very modern and clean room, amazing staff working across various departments of the hotel also, super friendly and efficient. We had Christmas dinner at the Lane restaurant on site and it was absolutely fantastic. I couldn’t recommend it higher. The bed was enormous and very comfy and the bathroom was gorgeous. Very central location which was great to get about the beautiful city too If you’re looking for a fully equipped self catering apartment this is more of a hotel style, and we found cooking was a bit tricky in the room, fine for a quick meal but not a full kitchen
