Very friendly staff and an excellent bar and restaurant. The room was pretty basic and the loo felt like it was in the room with us. Also got a bit stuffy at night as the window did not open. Having said that it was excellent value for money and really well situated in the city centre. We will definitely stay there again.

I have been travelling around New Zealand for 3 weeks and this is by far the best accommodation that I have stayed in. It’s also very well priced and to be honest I would have expected to have had to pay more for such good accommodation and brilliant location in Christchurch. The rooms are spotless and the beds are so comfortable along with the staff being so polite and welcoming. The facilities are very good and in reception you have plenty of room to just sit and have a chat in. I liked it that much that I booked another night in it, for to break my journey back up to Auckland. I can highly recommend it and you will really enjoy your stay. Fantastic ***** September 2026.
