Room was very spacious but in need of an update. Bed wasn’t the comfiest. Shower and bathroom was great. The spa was ok but you had to walk outside to get to it and couldn’t use the other facilities like they said as we didn’t get wristbands. Pool was good but had lots of tape on broken bits on it. Adult food was good but kids food we sent back as didn’t taste good even the adults couldn’t eat it. The staff were the best part especially in the restaurant. For a Radisson I expected better to be honest.

We chose this hotel because it was close to the M6 on our route home. We had booked 2 family rooms one for 2 adults and one for an adult and 2 children. When we arrived we found it hard to find a parking space in the dark. The next morning we discovered there is plenty of parking it was just not well sign posted near the entrance We checked in at 9pm after visiting friends, no information was offered about breakfast. We had rooms near eachother but the room for adult and children had not had the sofabed made up. The staff did sort this quickly. The room was also short of complementary water, & biscuits and did not have enough towels. We slept well although the sofa bed did seem to be on a bit of an angle. The next morning we went to use the pool (not included in our stay) we paid the extra charge. The facilities were good and the staff very helpful but they had an issue with the pool temperature the pool was quite busy with lap swimmers and did not feel very family friendly. Over all it was a good value option for a one night stopover.

Staff was top tier. Helpful and very kind. Only had two issues during my stay. One was no water for a shower but that’s because there was a fire down the road and the fire fighters needed to use the water surply. Weather wasn’t so good on the Sunday and I got back to my room and there was a leak from the roof, went down to reception and they moved me right away . These things happen and the response from the staff in the hotel was top tier. Will certainly stay again when I’m in that part of the country

The cottage slept 5 and while missing enough cutlery crockery and glasses for more than 2 people, we found it set up exceptionally well. The fixtures and fittings were all brand new, including beds, tables, chairs, flooring, mirrors, bedsides, cabinets and wardrobes, it really was very comfortable apart from the sofa bed that we felt was a bit old and worn in comparison to the rest of the cottage. The bathrooms (yes 2!) were absolutely beautiful, fab showers, marble finish and very high quality fittings. The cottage had a fridge with freezer box, a double hob, kettle, microwave and tea/coffee provided. Both the evening meal and breakfast in the signature grill were exceptional! The service was amazing, drinks prices very good and our servers went above and beyond, we are so happy with our stay and will definitely be back

Initial issues with room allocated to us (leak in bathroom) but room was swapped for an upgraded room (one with a sofa bed!) leisure facilities were great ND breakfast was fantastic. Yes outside areas are a tad unkempt but the team have a lot to do to get the enormous site shipshape again.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the hotel lobby, rooms and restaurants. It was just soured a little when we found out we had to pay to use the swimming pool, which wasn't clear. Swimming pool is free if you book directly with the hotel.

This lovely hotel has been refurbished. We loved the new pool and the spa looks great. One of our rooms was a junior sweet which was like a nice hotel room but no separate area to sit, just a sofa bed. The other had a four poster bed with separate sleeping area. The latter looked a little stark and needed updating l. I preferred the junior suite it was cosy. Everything was very clean. The restaurant was fabulous, what a great space. There were minor points that let the hotel down but overall I would definitely stay again.

Looked okay, but everything felt tired and not hugely clean. The bathroom was very good - but the rooms and corridors look like they needed some paint. Walls are super thin - could hear everything in next room. Corridor fire doors need some better closers - they slam all night.
