"35 years after last staying at this place, we returned for a long weekend. Perfect staff, remarkable food in a Michelin starred restaurant, and lovely grounds. "Very welcoming and set in the historic center -or very close. Large, comfortable room, multi-lingual receptionist and excellent breakfast, much of which is home made/home grown, including the jams. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on this particular evening, but if breakfast was anything to go by I expect a dinner there would be equally delicious. (There were other restaurants in easy walking distance.) I look forward to staying there again."

"Excellent location with outlook overlooking the cathedral & square. Excellent dinner in the restaurant, recommend to book as it gets busy at the weekend. Limited option of secure hotel parking available but lots of free parking available around the city. Clean & spacious room with some traditional features, and despite no air conditioning in room, staff made every effort to cool room with fans during heatwave. All staff really helpful & friendly. Would highly recommend this hotel if looking to stay in Laon, great location, central to cathedral, shops and amazing view points overlooking the vast French landscape from its hilltop position. Excellent food served in the hotel restaurant. The city is very picturesque, with lots of historical interest."
