Much Needed Beach Town Vacation

Erika was very pleasant and hardworking to make sure room was clean and ready. Location was perfect close to the town area and a short drive to the beach. Only issue was parking, spots were very tight for an oversized vehicle and not enough spaces for all guests some nights. Over all would stay here again and recommended. :)

Perfect location - the place is older and needs maintenance, but the rooms were clean. They also allowed our pup, which was its major selling point.

Not another generic, cookie-cutter place to stay. The Lighthouse Inn is a charming little spot with that classic Americana-beach vibe that reminds me of childhood vacations at the shore. Very clean with a wonderful, friendly staff. A nice place to kick back by the pool and relax in between explorations of the island.

The floors in the room were dirty. the tv did not work, the general state of maintenance was lacking. The room looked like school children painted it. Didn't even have a bar of soap to wash my hands. Would not stay there again.

The property is a bit outdated but the room was very clean when we arrived. We received one key and I locked myself out one morning. One of the inn keepers gave me another key and asked if we needed more towels or anything. Never got the towels. Pretty much had the pool to ourselves which was nice. The beds are extremely soft! Overall a good place to stay if you don’t want to spend a million dollars.

Chincoteague get-away

A 2-day remembrance trip of our many years spent camping and fishing at Chincoteague. Since Mike is recovering from chemo, we were not able to camp. So I set him up with his IVs in our ground floor room with the door open to a view of that colorful little park with Buddy (schnauzer) and I enjoying the cool evening breeze. This will be a lasting memory.

It was a great location. It was nice meting the other dogs staying at the motel. All the guests were very friendly.

Run down hotel in excellent location

Aging, run-down hotel rooms with few amenities. No closet, only one reading lamp, frig without a freezer, absolutely bare bones, not clean. Needs redecorating badly. However, the grounds are nice, with an outside porch for picnicking or barbecuing and an outdoor pool. Very well-located on Main Street, with easy walking access to restaurants, coffee bars, and shops. Chesapeake Bay right across the street.

In Memory of Madison

We were looking for a pet friendly hotel and we found it. The staff was very accomodating. Check in was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. Our get away vacation was cut short due to our older Chihauhau becoming ill with existing medical conditions. Eddie was very understanding. There was no problem leaving early in the stay.
