Location, Location, Location.

Perfectly located for the East Gate of the Nataraja Temple, we were very pleased that we had booked this hotel. Lots of helpful and friendly staff helped to make this an enjoyable stay and the standard of fittings, decor and comfort were entirely in keep with the room rate charged.

Very bad experience from checkin with an unfriendly manager at the reception, uncomfortable beds, stinking smell in and around the rooms allotted with drainage outlet surprisingly right next to the rooms. While these are some not so positive items about the hotel, one very positive aspect is its location if your visit to Chidambaram is for Nataraja Eshwar Darshan.

Chidambaram is a small town centered on the temple. Don’t expect a luxury hotel. This is a simple, clean hotel ; the advantage is that it is very close to the temple. You can easily walk 15 meters from the hotel to the temple. It’s an amazing, huge temple complex.

Great location to go to the temple. You can leave your chapels in your room ;). Pretty basic and budget for a good price. The manager is pretty strict. Without a smile and a decent amount of English is just okay for one night.

Firstly denied we booked deluxe twin room and gave a standard double, didn’t believe me until I showed them printed receipt. there was no WiFi at all, for whole of stay, no electric at times as generator wasn’t running and no hot water for whole of stay. Give this shambles a miss.
