The front desk staff was excellent. There was a mix up with our reservation and they deftly helped us figure out what happened and get it right.
Other good stuff: it’s clean, quiet, there’s a large area at the back of the property for dogs to do dog things. It’s relatively close to shopping, restaurants, and freeways. They allow dogs & have a dedicated area for them.
I travel with my Service Dog & we stayed in a room dedicated for people with dogs. So, the run down feel of the room might be a reflection of that accommodation. I don’t know what the regular rooms are like.
The meh: no bags offered for pet waste. No free coffee in the lobby. It’s tucked way back in what seems like an industrial area. The only food in the immediate vicinity is the hotel restaurant. There’s nothing else within walking distance.
Overall, the hotel is a good place for an out of the way stay close to a lot of higher end shops.
