Ruhe und Erholung abseits der Großstadt

Wir haben hier 2 fantastische Tage verbracht und das Thailand abseits der üblichen Hotelketten kennengelernt. Der Komfort entspricht vielleicht nicht den üblichen 5 Sternen, aber dennoch sollte man diese Art der Übernachtung mal gemacht haben. Das Highlight war die Aussicht ins Tal bis zum Mekong und darüber hinaus bis Laos. Nachts hat man die Möglichkeit einen Sternenhimmel zu sehen, den es in Europa durch Lichtverschmutzung gar nicht mehr gibt. Das Personal versucht einem jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Lediglich eine Fleece-Jacke für die recht frischen Nächte sollte man nicht vergessen im Koffer zu haben.

Le paradis sur terre

Déconnexion totale !!! Une petite maison pour nous tous seuls. 4 jours dans un village au bord du mekong et face au Laos avec les hmongs (tribue de montagne). Un service individualisé demi pension inclue. Nous avions toute notre intimité. Un chauffeur à la demande extraordinaire (pao) et idem pour le responsable de lanjia loge qui nous a fait visité le village (trés intéressant pour connaître les traditions). Une vue imprenable sur les montagnes. Une randonnée avec baignade dans une cascade. Merci à vous pour votre disponibilité et votre qualité d'accueuil. Merci paô pour votre gentillesse incomparable. C'ÉTAIT MÉMORABLE. Attention: village trés retiré, n'y allez pas pour le tourisme, la fête ou le shopping. Sejour plutôt propice au grand calme et à la meditation. Pour le reste il va falloir faire des kilomètres.

Not for the faint hearted.

Wonderful experience in the hills of Thailand. The Lodge is run and managed by local Hill Tribe staff. There is not much in the way of mod cons but the views and ambience are wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfortable with mosquito nets. Fans and open air replace air conditioning but it can be hot! A little off the beaten track and not easy to find but worth the effort.
