Bad experience from staff's poor attitude

We stayed at a double bed room with balcony type in 4 days, the room is so clean and the bed is comfortable. However, we had bad experience from poor attitude of one of their staff. Our room access card didn't work two times during our stay. On 9 Jan 17 night, we contacted their receptionist in this issue, the staff did not helpful and not willing to solve this problem and he just left the access card to my room without saying any response and follow up. We then approached him again, he only asked us he cannot do anything and requested us to approach their receptionist to open the door for us each time. This arrangement and his bad attitude is really poor.

I arrived early and well before check in after being on a train all in. The staff made me feel so welcome. They said I could leave my bags in the office till my room became available. They gave me a towel and toothbrush and toothpaste to get freshened up in the bathroom near the foyer. In all the years I’ve stayed at different places. I’ve never felt so welcome and so accommodated by the friendly staff. I will return and and will recommend this place to any friends and family that visiting Chiang Mai. Helpful management and staff

The facilities are very nice and the staff and management are very helpful. Having people who want to help you at the front desk is so important and they do a wonderful job. For example, when I left for the airport, they called me a red truck, I forgot a small piece of luggage, they called the red truck, and we returned to pick up the luggage before going to the airport. And they taped up a tear on the box of luggage I got there.

L’hotel si trova all’interno della città vecchia, facilmente raggiungibile in auto o taxi dall’aeroporto. Il personale è gentile, la colazione potrebbe essere più varia.

OK Hotel in a Bad Location

I liked the room size and design. A/C worked well. Bathroom was the standard wet bath, which I didn’t understand as the hotel is fairly new — is a simple shower curtain so very, very difficult? Breakfast was bad, just coffee, tea, and toast. Front desk staff, especially in the morning/afternoon, had a rather surly attitude. Location was not so good. There is a good restaurant next door and a 7-11 with ATM down the road a bit, but apart from those — nothing. Most decent restaurants and attractions are a long, hot walk away.

Nice, clean, comfortable - but loud at night

Positive: The hotel is modern and clean, beds are comfortable, breakfast is simple but ok for the price you can also choose to go out, the management & staff are extremely nice and everything is uncomplicated. Negative: There is a popular tourist restaurant next door which is very loud at night. And it's connected to the patio inside the building so you will always hear it and also guests who sit in the patio area at night. On the one side of the building is a water-pump which kept me up at night, but I was able to switch the room. But it's not possible to avoid the restaurant noise at all. Very sorry, otherwise the hotel would be a perfect bargain.

Comfortable hotel close to center of town

I enjoyed my stay at the H Hotel. The room what comfortable and clean. The bar next door is very popular and loud. They close at 11 which was around the time we would sleep so it did not bother us. I would stay here again!

Sauberes Hotel in der Altstadt

Wir haben nur eine Nacht vor unsere Abreise in den Süden in dem Hotel verbracht. Das Zimmer ist sauber und die Lage konnte nicht besser sein. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach aber ausreichend.

Pleasant stay. Small but cozy. The room is very clean. Easy to get local transportation right in front of the hotel. Phrasing Temple is within a walking distance.

Clean, new, small hotel

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff were lovely and friendly. The breakfast was basic but nice, although there isn't enough seating should the whole hotel decide to eat at the same time. The hotel is in a great location close to sights and tour operators / shops / places to eat and drink / pretty surroundings at the top of the road. There is a lovely park not far away, about a ten min walk. I'd stay again! The only issue I had was it was a bit noisy due to the open plan layout of the hotel / the hotel staff are up early making noise and talking in the corridors. But it wasn't too bad.

Perfect stay!

This hotel was a great experience from the time we walked through the door. The location was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We rented a scooter to see those things outside the main city, but other transport is necessary for that anyway. There is a really good restaurant, located right next door, and a 7-11 about 100 meters away. The staff was very friendly, spoke good English and was very attentive. The room was cleaned every day and was spotless.The only complaint was that the hot water, was not consistent and would not last through a shower. But that was a minor issue. All things considered, we had a wonderful stay and this hotel will be our first choice if we go back again. 5 stars!
