Well worth the stay

Was offered a choice of room which was great. Nice sized room with a sitting area as well as a lively big bed with a firm mattress. Shower doesn't have a lot of pressure but is perfectly adequate. Nice to be able to relax with the aircon on, watching Rv while reclining on the bed between trips. Having a good restaurant downstairs is a plus and there are plenty of other eating places and massage places around. Money machine and dairy close by too

This guesthouse is right next to Tha Pae Gate, a very busy and fun area of the old city. There are lots of great food and entertainment nearby. The guesthouse is not fancy, but the rooms are fairly large and have all the simple amenities we needed. The only complaint is the hot water heater for the shower is very inconsistent, so it can get really hot or cold. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our flight out of Chiang Mai was late in the day and they were willing to let us check out later.

Great value for money

Amazing location. Less than minute from Tha Phae Gate. Sunday Night Market is again less than a minute away. Lots of food options nearby. Very friendly service and very reasonable room rate. Overall a clean, simple, small hotel with great location and price!

Great value for this area

Loved the Thapae Gate area. Great boxing stadium close. Great seafood restaurant and craft beer bar attached to the property. Large deck and even a clothes drying rack.

A good find on our hectic tour of Thailand!

Great value for money.... good location. Good sized clan room. Friendly welcoming staff, comfy bed and efficient, quiet air conditioning. Sited over a restaurant... no cooking smells in the room and the bonus of a range of economically priced food to enjoy from breakfast, lunch snacks and dinners. A good find and pit stop on our hectic whistle stop tour of Thailand.

Bonne adresse pour les familles

Ghest house très agréable. Chambre bien équipée. Les patrons sont au petit soin pour vous aider à organiser votre séjour. Le seul petit bémol pour moi est le quartier qui est bruyant mais très central pour profiter de l’animation du centre ville donc tout dépend de ce que vous recherchez.

Great location.

My number one priorities are cleanliness and location and Central guest house was great for these. Situated above UGO restaurant right next to Thapae Gate you are perfectly situated for exploring the old city (Sunday night market is a must), plenty of bars and places to eat. Entry is through the restaurant during the day and via the boxing stadium after 11pm (up some steep stairs). The room (single room) was basic bed and shower, TV with Thai channels only. There was a kettle but no cups or coffee and no fridge so something to consider if staying more than a couple of days though there is free water on the landing and the restaurant downstairs. Staff were great and you can book all kinds of trips and days out at reception. Recommend for a couple of nights stay

Localização excelente perto de um dos principais portões da old city , deixou a desejar wi-fi muito lento ou não funcionava , usava mais do chip true que comprei , não recomendo para pessoas sensíveis a barulho pois tem barulho dos carros da rua e da abertura e fechamento da porta de aço do restaurante abaixo ,talvez eu preferiria um pouco mais afastado por esse motivo , na estadia estava ocorrendo festival da lanterna ou seja cidade estava muito cheia
