The staff were friendly. The property and the decorations look kind of old and may need some improvements though.

Check in was quick and staff were lovely with helping with luggage (no lift). Hotel was in a very clean condition as was the room. It’s not in the city centre but there is a bus stop outside that comes every half n Hour. Room itself was spacious, but the bathroom was quite small. Beds weren’t the most comfortable but for one night it wasn’t a big issue.

Great value for money, town is walkable but it is a bit out of the center. The noise from outside comes straight in , fortunately it is a quiet area. Over all a decent price lace to stay

Very disappointed with our stay. Very tired building, total lack of parking, just got told to look on the surrounding streets. Room was very small and being overseas visitors, no room for our suitcases. But the main issue was the bed, so uncomfortable and noisy just to turn over in. We didn’t book for price, we booked for location and parking, wish we had read the reviews properly first.

Mostly clean. A little dusty in places especially around lighting.Breakfast OK. Lovely staff. Hotel in need of a refresh. Very old fashioned. Smell of disinfectant. Nothing that would put me off a return visit.

Location and staff - fantastic! Property also has a free car park. The room was clean but very dated. Mattress was not comfortable and was quite noisy. The doors and the floor boards of the corridors are also quite noisy.

The parking was small and we didn't manage to get a space, but that was the only slight inconvenience. Perfectly clean, comfortable bed, thick carpets in the hallway and amazingly confortable sofas. Garden with nice closed spaces for small companies of friends. Fantastic breakfast with really nice and helpful staff. The town of Chester is charming and full of restaurants, atmosphere and English history. The hotel is within walking distance, if you are a walking person, otherwise there are lots of well placed car parks. I do recommend the place.

Basic but clean hotel, nice staff & an easy 15min walk into town. Good 3 star hotel for one night. Not comfortable enough for more I didn’t think. One hard pillow, small towels, unpredictable shower temperature, broken TV remote . Coffee & Tea in room, easy parking & quiet.
