Room was spotless. Haven't been here since i was a child in the 80"s and it brought back so many memories. The check- in was was a good surprise. It says 3 but they texted me at 1:30 and said our room was ready. Loved everything and will be back!!

I’ve been staying at the Cardinal each year these last 5 or 6 years always because it is a small well run Inn with helpful hosts. It is a serene place to be when the need is to relax after a days business or vacation affairs.

This is a very clean and cute motel. The owners do a lot to please their customers. The lot is on the smaller side, so if there is more than one person there with a car trailer, it takes juggling around and good maneuvering around during your stay.

Comfy beds, updated rooms—shower was large and relaxing- very clean. Loved having a fire pit and lawn chairs to use in the evening. The complementary coffee, hot cocoa and popcorn in the room were a wonderful addition. The convenience of parking directly outside your room was an added bonus.

Hotel that goes the extra mile for it's customers.

We went to Annual Conference at Lake Junaluska. The Cardinal Inn was close to restaurants, shopping, Maggie Valley, Waynesville. The owners are friendly and always willing to interact with those staying there. If you need anything, they will gladly get it for you. Not a chain restaurant. We enjoyed the relaxing stay and will go back again.
