The staff was friendly and the facility was clean and well kept. It is an older motel but has been upgraded well.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
The Mgr was very nice we were running late and he said that it was fine he was going to be up for awhile and then he said take your time and be safe i thought it was really sweet
The room was clean you could see it was a older building but it was very clean
We met a few of the other guests and they were nice also
I would stay there again
Like most of the locally-owned hotels in Maggie Valley, this is an older hotel. Do not let the looks fool you. Our room was IMMACULATE. The refrigerator is probably the largest one I've ever seen in a hotel room. The king sized bed was SO comfortable! The owner was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay, plus his number if we did have any problems (we did not!) If you're like us and you just want somewhere clean & comfortable to sleep at night THIS is the place for you!
This was only hotel available at the time I booked. It had decent reviews so I gave it a try. Although the room was clean, having to kill three bugs (either stink bugs or roaches) made my stay less comfortable. The hotel was also what appeared to be home for several families that looked like they might have been doing construction in the area. They also made us a little uncomfortable. The bedding was clean. The bathroom fixtures had burn marks on them that most likely happened when the hotel offered smoking rooms. I would not stay there again.
A small, older motel where you can park at your door on the ground level. Clean, basic accommodations. Our king room had a good size refrigerator with a freezer, microwave, coffee maker, etc. The owner? warned us that help was scarce and there might not be any service. 35 miles from downtown Asheville, but right at the edge of Maggie Valley. No restaurant within walking distance, but lots of mom and pop type places nearby. No frills basic place to sleep.
The property was very dirty. Everything was stinking. Not even sure when was the last time they cleaned floor carpets and bed sheets. They say because of covid they don't clean the room when we are inside the hotel but at least they should clean it before customers arrive. Completely unacceptable that rooms were not cleaned at all before we checked in
We were happy the 2 days we stayed. Comfortable beds and clean room

Disliked: Cleanliness, room comfort
Smoking downstairs
It would be nice if there was smoking on the bottom floor due to family not being able to do stairs. Also need to hire some help to clean the rooms. When ask if we could change to downstairs the man said no and he’s not gonna hire anyone to clean rooms that we were taking away from “his important going out time”
It was great will definitely stay there again and Allen was the best

Nice.
Our first visit here. Motel didnt look like it did in the ad. It was a different color and no pretty flowers hanging. Room had a damp feel and smelled musty. However bed was extremely comfortable. The office didnt have any sort of signage indicating it was the office which was confusing to us when we pulled in. Its in a older brick house. Owner was very friendly and extremely busy as he had to clean the rooms himself. We did enjoy sitting outside our room the 2 nights we were there.
We only had one problem our entire stay & that was at check in. We arrived after 4 & the owner wasnt there. His son was, who informed us he couldnt check us in, along with another guy who was also trying to check in. We left & came back maybe 2 hours later & checked right in. Clean room, very comfy bed, quiet & the owner was very nice. Overall a nice stay! Will stay again :)

They said something happened with our room and it wasn't available when we went to check in. They referred us to another motel down the road ,where they said they called and got us a room. It certainly wasn't a place that I would have stayed, but we were without a room and stuck there---
Hotel was filthy. Child got bit up by bed bug's. AC and lights didn't work when first got into room. Every time I went to car, I felt like was going to get mugged. Was loud and beyond dirty, filthy.
