「A must visit. This hotel was so peaceful and relaxing, lovely room and amenities. The staff are amazing - I accidentally left a ring in the bathroom and after checking out, they posted it free of charge to Chiang Mai for me! 」

「The hotel is located in a beautiful setting, by the side of the river, close to the entrance of the park and the dam. It is also surrounded by a few good restaurants, within a 5-10-minute drive. The owner offered an upgrade to a room with A/C on arrival for a little extra. She was also very helpful with transportation time tables and activity bookings. As expected, the room was a bit rustic but clean and functional. The mattress was stiff, even for Thailand. I straighten my back the first night....

「The view of the mountains is nice and the pool was good. Just things to note: both nights I was there they had live music until 10 pm which I could hear from my room. You have to take your key with you which turns off all of the power so my room was always hot when I returned because the A/C had not been running. I had wifi issues that had to be fixed twice. I did not receive any housekeeping service for an 2 night stay. Overall I would classify my stay as “not bad”. 」

「From the moment we arrived at the Bliss, Nong and the other staff made us feel very welcome. Their hospitality was second to none. The breakfasts are every bit as good as the reviews said they’d be and they’re up there with the best breakfasts I’ve had anywhere in the world. 「De kamer met het uitzicht en de zonsopkomst over de bergen is fantastisch! Personeel heel vriendelijk en de perfecte uitvalsbasis voor het meer (5min met de tuktuk of ongeveer 20min lopen). Zwembad is ook heerlijk met mooi uitzicht. 10/10!」

Mancano i piccoli particolari che un occidentale (e clienti che ho visto lo erano tutti) si aspetterebbe: una luce per leggere a letto, comodini, cose così... 「Les propriétaires de cette pension familiale sont vraiment très gentils et serviables. Nous avons réservé l’excursion d’une journée sur le lac avec eux et nous avons passé une journée fantastique. Avons également réservé les transferts en mini-van. La chambre était propre avec une très jolie vue. Une peu bruyante car située sous la terrasse du petit déjeuner. Idéale pour les lève-tôt !」
