Nice hotel with reasonably priced rooms

Overall we enjoyed our stay at rainbow . Great facilities hot water , air conditioning , wifi , adjacent To a decent restaraunt and close to mylapore and its adjacent suburbs. TNagar shops , Pondi bazar and usman road were an auto ride away . Staff were helpful when advice was sought . Clean and spacious rooms , well maintained property . Daily room Cleaning had to be requested . A suggestion to improve their facilities would be to ensure that double beds have the double sized quilt/ blankets rather than two single sized quilt / blanket placed next to Each other . Overall would recommend this for price , cleanliness comfort and location .

I had come to HOTEL RAINBOW after a very tiring journey. We had to attend the interview at the us consulate the next day and just wanted to relax and take rest. As we reached the hotel, we weren't very impressed by its outward appearance or the lobby which was very smalll but we checked in anyway.When we reached our room, we were disappointed all the more. The room was tint, the ac wasnt working. I was sweating with the ac on. They tried fixing the ac twice... but in vain. So we were shifted to another room. That to was much better. The room was bigger and the ac was efficient!Then as we sat to have some coffee aND watch some TV, we realized the tv didn't work. We called the reception. And after sending 3 different hotel staff trying their best, it finally worked.The next morning , we had to have breakfast and leave by 8. We were informed a breakfast buffet will be available from 7:30 to 10.30.We reached at 7:45, they hadn't started setting up the buffet. So we were forced to eat a plate of food selected by them . There was no buffet till 8 as they were still setting up till then.The same day, the WiFi stopped working for a couple of hours and we had to call them 4 times to get that fixed . For lunch that day, we just ordered some tandoori roti and a bottle of mineral water since we already had some food in the room. They took 2 hours to get it.3 calls and a huge shouting later, they got it which alone cost me rs. 180. Positives are courteous staff, cleanlines and comfort.

マイラポールには徒歩圏内で助かりました。ティファール等のお湯を沸かし機がないのが残念。

宿の方達はとても親身で、親戚のようによく世話してくださいました。大きいリゾートホテルより、このような民宿のようなホテルは思い出深くて、ここに泊まってほんとに良かったです。また行きたいです。ありがとうございました。

Bon hotel a Alwarpet

Notre sejour au Rainbow Hotel s'est bien passe. Le service est bon autant au niveau de la reception que du restaurant adjacent - ou on mange d'ailleurs tres bien, la cuisine d'Inde du Nord et du Sud etant bien mis en avant. Nous avons sejourne dans une suite (chambre avec baignoire + salon) puis dans une chambre premium (sans baignoire avec salon) et la seconde option etait bien suffisante (les studios etant vraiment petit, surtout pour nous qui devions y rester 15 jours). Le seul commentaire negatif pourrait concerner les draps (il faudrait qu'ils les lavent a chaud car il reste des taches, mais sinon la chambre etait impeccable. Je recommande donc cet hotel.

I was there for a night only for the US Visa interview. The room was ok but they weren't prepared for the breakfast. I had to skip it as I would have been late for the interview. Room service is decent.
