Perhaps they were making most of Chennai being almost Sold-out during my stay duration but asking for 5k without even basic facilities like complementary bottled water... Wow!!
thy chrge u fr prmium room but nospace fr extr bed
just vivisted stayed for a weekk...the room we demanded was non smoking one and for three guests ...but afater charging so much for the room thy just gave small room on the name of premium and the rooom dont have proper space fr third bed..coffe maker was broken one ..the bathroom had no air freshner ..very foul smelling...cant switch off the ac bcoz of centarlized ac ....the bigest disadvantage is ...the very small room and bathroom also ...the service is also poor thy dont bring things on time ..thy took aprox 45 minutes to bring a simple tea bag ....very bad stay............not worthy at all
The Hotel via Expedia charged premium but gave us regular room. The service is very bad. They wont offer you free wifi even thou the itinerary says its premium and free wifi. Have to call Expedia multiple times to make sure Harisson hotel gives free wifi. The area of the hotel is very traffic congested and hardly any fresh air to breathe around.I later called expedia about this hotel not giving premium room even thou charging it.. expedia says they will try for a 50 usd coupon. Never trust/stay in this hotel.. it run by bunch of fraudulent folks.
Don't go by the pics displayed on the site , the real rooms are bad and not so glittery as shown in site.
Decent hotel within city limits. Ideal for a bussiness traveler. Staff is very good, courteous and attentive. Rooms are fine as well. A bit noisy if you get rooms facing the main road side. But not a big concern. Hotel has two good restaurants which are bit on the expensive side, but very good food. Easy to catch a tuk-tuk from front of the hotel which is also a positive . I did not find hotels exchange rates for foreign notes very appealing but was good that service is available in case you need some money for your day to day stuff. There is a shoppers stop upscale store around the corner if you need to buy some clothing. Overall I would stay there again.
I stayed for just one night on my way back to the USA. It was nice.
They have several great restaurants so I didn't need to search outside for food. Mr. HARAN, from Eden Restaurant, went out of his way to help me.
I will only stay here on all future trips.
Note: if you have the hotel book you a taxi you'll pay lots more than calling a local company yourself. Learning this saved me close to 600 rupees.
I really like this hotel and highly recommend it. It is clean and the staff are first class.
The physical facilities are quite nice - large clean room, comfortable lobby - but little things detract. The safe malfunctioned the day before I left, the WiFi bandwidth was overly maxed out during evenings making email impossible, the fitness room was a joke.
