I was disappointed with the condition of the property. It seemed quite run down. There was no WiFi access in the bedrooms, only the reception. Position next to the sea was excellent.

Beach is the only good part.

Property seems to be very old and rooms had smell problem. The garden view rooms are facing each other and you can see group of people partying in front of the room/walkway. Our room was facing the parking area. The area was not maintained very well. You can see pile of garbage near rooms. The area near the entry gate seems to be for garbage and it stinks. The breakfast was okay but other time food service was horrible. The beach is the best part of the stay as you have access to the beach from property. You can only stand near the water and wait for waves to come, but you can enjoy the view. Overall not worth the price. It is a good location but bad service and rooms condition.

We booked for a premium sea front room. When we checked in, they put in a regular room with no windows. When we asked why, the hotel staff said all rooms are like that. Later we found the blankets were torn, stains on pillow cases, room dirty, and stains on toilet seat. When we argued with the hotel staff that this is not the room we paid for and asked to change the room, and after lots of back and forth, they switched to a true premium sea front room. That room also had issues with stains on pillow cases, torn blankets, and room dirty. The hotel staff could take care of all these when we paid tips. Only positive thing in our stay is excellent food and a great location with direct access to beach, This place has excellent potential to become a prime hotel if the cleanliness can be taken care of. I took pictures as a proof of my comments if someone wants to see.

Very bad experience, my friend was robbed of her value (not much fortunately) forgotten in a wallet, left in the room during the cleaning while we were away. That was undoubtedly a theft, cause the thief left a small size banknote dripping from the wallet. And, most awful and without any comprehension for what happened, we didn’t get any apologies of any kind. Poor staff and rude management. Also, the water of the swimming pool was green… Please do yourself a favor, stay away from this resort and choose another accommodation to admire the many beauties that Mahabalipuram offers.
