Good location and nice place to stay

It is a good place to stay if you want to visit Crater Lake, since the Crater Lake Lodge is so difficult to make the reservation.

It is too hot upstairs. I opened the window and a moth flew in via the cracked screen. Still too hot. I can’t sleep. It’s 11 pm, and I’m writing this review because I can’t sleep, and I have a long day driving tomorrow. I thought the Midwest Kansas is the hottest this time of year, not some lake in Oregon? I wish I could sleep inside the refrigerator downstairs. It is a full sized refrigerator and I would fit! The staff is nice, though. Should have come here in winter instead of summer. Winter will be warm in here.

Staff is very friendly, professional and helpful. Although along highway, our room was quiet and clean with good beds. Offered to bring us to the Amtrak station which we declined as the station is only a 10 minute walk (and the weather was nice)

chamult is very small area/street with limited restaurant and has 2 gas stations with a small convinience store. we went in off season. so have to drive long 10 mile via south entrance to get to crater lake while summers with nort entrance will make it easy and full booked hotel. we went in april and mostly empty and its just by highway. The owner and front desk person is friendly and helpful. Room is spacious with good heater and internet but no phone to call front desk for any issues.

The Eagle Crater lake Inn is in the very remote town of Chemult, Oregon. The motel is older and could definitely use some updating. However, I had a nice stay as the room was clean, warm, and had many nice amenities such as new, fluffy towels, phone outlets by on the nightstands, and ample sample sizes of shampoo, lotion, soaps and even shower caps. The updated heating and air conditioning system was easy to regulate. The fella at the front desk was great and helpful and made sure the snow was cleared off the parking area and my walking area was clear. I would definitely stay again.

The manager was extremely helpful accommodating the location of our room to parking to minimize walking. He also was very responsive to our questions about the property’s proximity to the fires in Oregon. We were there during the fire season.
