Comfortable, clean and friendly. Parking was limited to a few spaces which meant parking just outside the village for one night until we were lucky enough to find one of the designated spaces empty.
Was right in the centre of everything… great location. Very friendly breakfast was lovely. Lots of pubs and restaurants for places to eat . An amazing and beautiful place to stay .
Amazing stay to see the Cotswolds. Friendly staff, good breakfast, and located in the middle of town close to many shops and restaurants. We got one of the parking spots the first day but the second day no parking was found. The hotel staff directed us to a temporary parking then recommended we look for parking after dinner. This recommendation worked very well. The room was quite warm in July but they provided us with a fan on request. Definitely recommend
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly; we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing room and amazing location. Staff was friendly and couldnt be more helpful. Breakfast was great and the perfect way tonstart every day. Definitely will be returning.
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, hot and plentiful. We enjoyed a full English and the other options on our three night stay. Room was very comfortable , lovely welcome snack basket and amenities available. Mandy was exceptionally welcoming providing local information and details. Great location to stay.
The hosts were absolutely lovely and made the stay so special, even leaving a special hamper as it was my wife’s birthday! The B&B is perfectly placed right in the middle of the village and the rooms were lovely.
Second time we've stayed here now, it's a great location and the rooms are surprisingly quiet when it's busy outside. The staff are great and helpful, the breakfast is very good as well.
Only downside is if you go during peak tourist times it maybe a struggle to get parking.

An average & affordable stay in an expensive area
While Chestnuts is a good value for expensive Bourton-on-the-Water, the accommodations were somewhat disappointing. The location is terrific and the breakfast was tasty, but there is minimal hospitality compared to other places we stayed across England. The room was a little dated and the bed wasn’t our favorite; and the shower temperature was hard to fine-tune; it was either hot or cold.
Charming little place! Nothing fancy but very comfy and cozy and clean. The hosts were incredibly nice and warm. Perfect base for exploring the area. Hard to beat the location. The breakfast was a nice addition.

The room was generally clean, but the en-suite had quite a bit of mould across the ceiling and the shower felt cramped, despite the large cubicle, due to the shower itself being squashed into the corner of the cubicle. The furniture is somewhat 'distressed' , but the bed was very comfortable and the duvet was great. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast on our first morning was very good, however, on the second morning the fried egg yolks were hard, but the whites were runny and oily. Plenty of Tea bags and Coffee were supplied in the room, but only 4 small milk pots, which were not replenished. The Chestnuts is ideally located in the beautiful town of Bourton-on-the water, with plenty of pubs/restaurants. Parking can be a bit of a chore due to the small number of private spaces available to the B&B. You can park on the street for a maximum of 90 mins, although after 6 pm, you can park overnight free. We had a great short break and will definitely return to the Cotswolds, although probably not to this B&B.

Very old building. So old musky smell. Tiny bathroom. No air con. Service and staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location is good but would find some where a little more updated.
The location was great. We visited several Cotswolds villages. This one was the most pleasant to walk around. The service was great. The full English breakfast was wonderful with eggs(fried or scrambled), bacon, sausage, tomatoes, beans, and toast with creamy butter and an assortment of jams and honey. The young lady working there was very helpful and polite. Overall, a great stay.
