No matter where you're coming from, flying can be an enjoyable experience if you've prepared well enough. We've made a list of handy tips that will help get your San Latino vacation started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First things first, pack your passport, official ID, wallet and daily medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to while away the hours. A juicy novel and a laptop crammed with your favorite movies are some wonderful options. If you plan to catch forty winks, a neck pillow and a pair of noise-canceling headphones will also be useful. Finally, leave some space for a toothbrush and some deodorant so you'll step off the plane looking fresh and ready to go.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- While the list of prohibited items can differ between airlines, the general guide to follow is avoid carrying anything flammable, sharp or explosive. This includes things like box cutters, razor blades, aerosol cans and flares. Sporting equipment like ski poles, and objects that could harm passengers, such as pepper spray and firearms, won't be allowed on board either.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a sensible option, as are flat, slip-on shoes.
- The result of sustained periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect some passengers during long-distance flights. Lower your risks by staying hydrated, keeping your feet and legs moving and wearing compression socks to help your circulation.
