If you're not prepared, traveling can be overwhelming. But there's no need to panic. Follow these handy tips for a pain-free start to your vacation in Quart. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a great experience if you carry the right things. First things first, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a spare pair of socks and something to read. Next, find a spot in your hand luggage for your laptop, a charger, medications and maybe a neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, don't forget to take your passport, travel docs and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Leave all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and matches, are also prohibited.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an aircraft are no place for a fashion parade. Wear layers and pick shoes that are flat and easy to pull on and off.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clotting condition caused by lengthy periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to wander around the cabin or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
