"We stayed 2 nights, mom and teen daughter. Stayed in a queen cabin. First the goods - the air conditioning on our cabin was exceptional and bed super comfy. We slept well in the heat. The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. Pool was perfect temperature for a dip in the heat. They had poolside drink service too. Honestly, I can’t say enough about the very good and friendly service. Location is fantastic, very close to Blois. You need a car Points to consider - the wifi in our cabin was practically non-existent. If you have to work here, plan to rely on cell service. As others have mentioned, the shower is poorly designed and if you aren’t very careful, water will stream everywhere. I noticed the floor is warped in several places and I expect it’s from sitting water from shower. Breakfast was not excellent. Reminded me more of a Holiday Inn Express than a beautiful French countryside hotel. Maybe my expectations were too high. We ate at the restaurant one evening. We enjoyed it, staff very accommodating."

"Great location, good room. Old building could use a refresh (eg bars holding carpet down in the stairs were coming undone). Staff was good but inconstant in helpfulness/warmth (eg. We travelled with another party and I asked if we could have our tables next to one another at breakfast. she was a bit annoyed and reluctantly swapped the tables. I did not ask in advance, however we were the first guests and the breakfast room was completely empty.)"

"C'était absolument parfait sur toute la ligne! Les chambres, la salle à manger, le jardin et la piscine nous ont ravis. Le déjeuner était exquis. Nos hôtes ont été charmants et très gentils avec nos 2 enfants. Le site est calme et central pour les visites des châteaux et villages magnifiques des environs. Mon seul regret est que notre séjour ait été de seulement 6 jours. Je rêve déjà d'y retourner. Je vous recommande cette hotel à 100% et les yeux fermés."

"Colivault was exceptional, from the house and grounds to Richard and his family’s warm hospitality. This is one place we will definitely return to again and again. The rooms are luxurious, the breakfast was plentiful, served outside in the dappled sunlit garden and the pool was delightful. Pet friendly accommodation is hard to find of this high calibre. Wonderful French charm, it’s easy to see why so many guests fall in love with Colivault. 10/10 , 5 stars, we can’t wait to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Excellent stay. The team were very welcoming on arrival, the room very clean and kept that way daily. Such a nice relaxing environment, with great breakfast and a really nice Brasserie. Stayed in the Junior Suite which had a nice terrace area overlooking the gardens and good AC!"

"The hotel was clean, reasonably priced, and a quick walk to the Chamount Sur Loire Chateau (which was amazing!) The modern style/design of the hotel was really fun, comfortable and well-appointed. The staff was mostly friendly , especially Olivia and Julia in reception. The onsite restaurant was very good, and quite reasonable considering how fancy the food was. Chef Victor offered us a quick tour of the kitchen and was quite charming and friendly. The downsides are: some of the second floor rooms have very steep, narrow stairs that would be a challenge with luggage. There are also no amenities. No air conditioning, no fridge in the room, no room service and thus no milk w coffee. It’s a good stop for those passing through as there is no real town nearby and little to do at the hotel but sleep and eat."
