The hotel was not in a safe neighborhood. There were shifty people walking outside the hotel at 1:30 am. It made us extremely nervous being from out of town and just stopping by to have somewhere to sleep while traveling. We had no idea that it was a bad neighborhood. The front desk girl assured us the hotel was safe and had security, although the only other people we saw was an old woman, who was her mom, and scary individuals wandering around the hotel late. The hotel looked worn down once we got off the elevator. There were things missing, locks hanging of the doors, and the largest cockroach was in the hallway. We left about as soon as we got to our room. The only positive was the front desk girl, she was kind and welcoming. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families traveling.
