Nothing in particular. You could tell that I’m the 80s/90s it was a higher end hotel. It’s declined ever since and is now a mess and in a terrible neighborhood. Staff aren’t particularly friendly or helpful. And they let campers park in the rear lot. There was a loud party that went until 11p and staff refused to intervene.

The room was dirty when we arrived. Old used soaps from previous guests were still sitting on the bathtub and the sheets were soiled. Stay elsewhere.

This property was our worst experience when it comes to cleanliness and professionalism. It was dirty and the staff were not helpful. Me and 4 other families waited at the front desk for 30 minutes before a staff person even came to the desk at one point. The staff had attitudes. There was so many sketchy people to come in and out of the hotel. We were not able to stay because the hotel say they never got our reservation and Expedia said they sent it. Neitherside wanted to own up to there mistake and the hotel was fully booked so they could not accommodate us. So all of this is just from being in the lobby and walking down all of the floors to find a staffer. It was well after 1am before Expedia could find us another hotel that technically we found because we called around and drove around until we found it. It took 2 hours just for Expedia to get us to the appropriate department and to get an anawer then it took an additional 2 hours before Expedia confirmed to give us money back and a credit for the inconvenience.

I arrived and had to wait 20 minutes because there was one person working the desk and she took her time. When I got to the front of the line she did not have my reservation reserved thru Expedia and said they did not have any rooms and I needed to cancel my reservation thru Expedia. I've been trying to get in touch w/ Expedia since then and have been unsuccessful, but they still charged my credit card for a reservation that apparently never went through. Also, this hotel is disgusting.

The furniture had stains and the tub had mold or mildew. The entire room seemed dirty and the area did not seem safe.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating! However that was the only good thing about our stay. We were appalled at the condition of the hotel, especially our room. There was mold 12” high along the bottom of the shower curtain as well as under the microwave plate. All the cabinet doors were banged up. There was extremely poor lighting so much that I had to rearrange the lamps just to see my clothes in the closet. Finally the back door to the hotel did not close, so anyone could get in. We were at the top of the stairs and I felt very unsafe. We will not be returning, as even the most basic cleanliness was missing.

Terrible location

When we arrived at the hotel we were informed that they had no rooms available and that due to the recent rain many of the rooms had water damage. It was a blessing in deguise since this hotel was in one of the worst areas I have ever been in. Had several apparent drug addicts approach us in the parking lot asking for money. And the overall area was so run down it was very sketchy. I had booked this hotel for another trip next month and I just cancelled it. Would not recommend

Poor business ethics!

When I went to check-In with my reservation, the desk attendant notifies me that they were SOLD OUT. This left me with no where to stay. Calling for my refund.

Have you seen Big? That scene where Tom Hanks is in the city the first night, crying in the fetal position while he heard gun shots and sirens all around him? That's what I was imagining as I pulled up to this place and attempted to check in. Problem was, the hotel was overbooked, and I didn't even get to stay there, even though I'd already paid for the reservation through Expedia. Now I have to deal with trying to reach Expedia to get a refund - which has proven to be extremely difficult. Anyway, I thought I should leave a review about this place because I felt very unsafe there. There were sirens all around, someone was getting arrested across the street, and there were sketchy looking people walking around in the lobby and just outside the hotel. I was honestly almost glad we weren't able to stay there.

Annoyed and mad

I am angered that I asked and paid for a service that I did not receive. I paid and all and got to a sold out hotel. This is terrible customer service, how do you reserve a room when there are non available, and how is it that I can’t get a hold of anyone for a refund on a service I never received this is outrageous.

Looked pretty bad. Said on web site that there was a pool. Pool not even open and hasn’t been open. Went to enjoy a vacation by the pool and couldn’t. They did give me a refund and I went elsewhere. Well I have the refund as of now. They said the manager might charge me for one night. But don’t think they should even be able to do that since they said they had a pool and did not.

I had a booking for Saturday night and they told me they did not had a room for me , although I had already booked with Expedia and paid the days I was going to stay over. The told me they didn’t have a confirmation number , but I had one on my end and said that one did not work. Unacceptable service from the Expedia.

I know better than to expect champagne on a beer budget, but this place was not even beer on a beer budget. First, it looks nothing like the photos shown, it’s not newly remodeled like they claim, and it’s incredibly filthy. The room smelled like smoke the whole time, the shower curtain was covered in dark mold, the floors were dirty with the corners collecting all sorts of dust and hair. The sheets had blood on them. The towels had other people’s hair in them and there’s no hooks to hang them up. The staff seemed confused about what was going on the whole time, and were honestly friendly just clearly preoccupied. And apart from all of that, there’s a train that goes right by this hotel that blares it’s horn loudly at 5:15AM. Absolutely do not stay here.
