We had a total of 30 guests from 9 different countries all over the world, so to make it special, we created a week of wedding festivities rather than only one day! We had an activity day with all of the guests where we chartered a private bus to show us some of the great attractions and hidden gems of Chania. One of our stops was at Stavros Beach where Zorba the Greek was filmed! We had some traditional Greek mezethes (tapas or appetizers), which consisted of lots of #seafood ! Luxurious but a little remote

The resort feels luxurious esp the bar area and the pool. Food is great. However, it is a bit remote and there’s nothing much around it. I guess it’s perfect for those who just want to enjoy the resort and not go anywhere.

Breathe taking view in this out of the way resort. The rooms are very nice, we had a sea view making it spectacular. There is a main pool or a quiet section on the cliff side. The buffet for breakfast and or dinner was delicious. It is semi remote so a car rental or taxi service is needed.

Had a good stay here but it could have been better. The area itself is quite secluded however they compensate by running shuttle buses into Chania x2 a day. Breakfast was really good! Staff majority we interacted with were great but a few seemed to want to do the bare minimum.

This was a nice hotel! The facilities were attractive and very amazing upon arrival especially with the amazing sunset on the large overlook. The room was nice and clean and there was a nice private balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The cafeteria was my least favorite part. The patrons were grumpy and almost feral for food while the staff was rushing just to keep up and often couldn’t. The night time routine of having people check in and then chase them down for the payment was strange especially because there was only one host and she could not handle it all. The kitchen staff were definitely not happy and made it awkward to interact with. My final concern with that are were the bees. In the morning the bees basically hover around in large numbers. There seemed to be about 3-4 bees per table. It was crazy! They weren’t aggressive, just always there always curious. lol. The place where the hotel is situated is beautiful too. Perhaps after the issues with the dining room I just could not recover enough to like it.

I stayed at this resort as a disabled guest, and loved this hotel, I wrote more detail below of my experience: Pros Service was incredible, everyone is always smiling and helping you with bags/drinks/food etc. Very luxurious and classy hotel, everyone was very well mannered (only kids were not) All amenities you need are available, different pools, pool bar, breakfast & lunch, lounging area, game room, spa and shop very convenient and lovely. Food selection was nice and traditional, all greek salads, cold mezzes, vegetable etc so it feels very authentic Cons Check in was a little difficult, we booked two twin bed accessible room but the hotel made an error and gave us a double bed, we did not get checked in until about 8.30pm Cleaning service was not so good, glasses were left in the rooms, towels not replaced, rubbish on the balcony left. Disabled/accessible rooms are very spacious however, the shower was not functional, this was flooding every single time and made our stay very uncomfortable. There were children running around at lunch, in the spa, by the pool and we tried to avoid kids so we chose Late September but unfortunately there were still families and babies. The hotel is very far, they have a shuttle but if you miss this shuttle, you have no other way to go into the city unless you want to pay €30 both ways. The beach was closed off because its off season apparently so only pool was available

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Für ein 5 Sterne Hotel ist der Service aber wirklich fast nicht existent. Service: Das Golf Card war gerade unterwegs deshalb mussten wir unser Gepäck selbst zur Villa bringen. Es gibt keinen Room Service. Der Cleaning-Service war dafür schnell und sehr sauber. Ich morgens gegen 7 Uhr in der Anlage gestürzt und schlimm auf den Rücken gefallen. Der Hotelbesitzer vom Hotel gegenüber (der aus dem Schlaf aufgeschreckt ist, sich angezogen hat und rüber gerannt kam) war schneller bei mir, als der Nachtwächter von unserem Hotel, obwohl er in Sichtweite saß. Er kam dann gemütlich an und hat auch so gar nicht geholfen? Als dann klar war, dass es keinen Krankenwagen braucht haben wir gefragt ob denn nun eins der Gold cards und zumindest zurück zum Zimmer bringen kann weil ich nicht laufen konnte: nein das geht nicht. Aber ich kann Eis haben. Es wurde sich auch nie wieder erkundigt. Sauberkeit: Der Salzwasserpool ist schön, bei dem Pool mit normalem Wasser blättert die Farbe ab (nein wirklich, das Wasser ist trüb und man hat danach Farbpartikel auf dem Bikini). Die Liegen stehen auf Wiese, dementsprechend sind sie super dreckig, weil man natürlich dreckige Füße hat dann, die Sonnenschirme haben teilweise so viele Risse und Löcher, dass die Sonne trotzdem voll durchkommt Sonstiges: Wenn man zwischen 11-19 Uhr Hunger hat, gibt’s nur die Pool Bar mit Käse-Toast, Bagel, Pommes oder Salat. Fußläufig gibt es nichts also ohne Auto nicht zu empfehlen.

Hotel could be better

Lovely room and balcony. This hotel could be fantastic. There weren’t enough sun beds. They said there was beach bar and food. That was closed. The a la.carte restaurant was closed when we arrived the buffet was £35 a head. Wasn’t very good Could only have one key to room. They said they did t have enough ! No maps of area or in for given when checked in The music by the pool was too loud and terrible taste.

Not the greatest rooms and not very clean , checked in to my room and it looked like they either brought me to the wrong room or just didn’t bother to clean the one they gave me. Toilet paper was out , towels were moist and water was on the floor outside the shower as if somebody had just showered

What should have been a joyful wedding anniversary stay at Isla Brown Hilton Chania, Crete a 5 days stay, turned into one of the most cruel and humiliating experiences we’ve ever had at a hotel. 💔 On approaching the receptionist Alexandros to request a second key to our Deluxe Seaview Junior suite, he refused to greet us, avoided eye contact, and rudely denied us a second key to our suite. The next day, after personally calling for housekeeping, fresh sheets, and 2 pillows, we came back hours later to find our room untouched — a deliberate act that felt like bullying and discrimination. When we brought this to the General Manager, instead of resolving it, he dismissed us, defended the staff, and even insinuated we were lying. Yet, the very pillows we requested magically appeared in our room later. The contradiction was undeniable. No couple celebrating their anniversary — or any guest — should be treated with such disrespect, cruelty, and lack of hospitality at a Hilton resort. This experience has left us shocked, exhausted, and deeply disappointed.

Das Hotel war absolut ok. Für mich waren es 4 Sterne. Die Auswahl an Frühstück war reichlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren bemüht. Ich würde bei meinem nächsten Kreta Urlaub aber ein anderes Hotel buchen.

Hôtel récent, agréable avec des chambres très spacieuses, même pour les voyageurs solo. La vue de la piscine et du bar est magnifique et l’on peut y admirer de très beaux couchers de soleil. L’hôtel étant excentré, un véhicule est nécessaire si l’on souhaite profiter de l’île.
