"This is a beautiful property with unique, rustic design situated in the middle of the village, definitely off the beaten path! The suite we stayed in on the 4th floor had a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding greenery. The property was well maintained and the staff was amazingly accommodating. "An absolute gem of a hotel! The building is absolutely beautiful and feels like it has been there forever, even in the new parts. The room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. They filter their water so you can use the taps no problem to brush teeth but they provide lots of bottled water as well. The location is perfect for exploring Stone Town, which is very safe to walk around on your own. The views of the ocean from the hotel are endless. And the staff goes above and beyond - everyone is helpful, always smiling and wants to make sure your stay is perfect. Our only regret is we didn't spend an extra few nights here. "
