First and foremost, no one alluded to the requirement that I had to give a $50 deposit on top of the room fee. If it wasn't for the fact that we were tired after traveling all day I would have walked out. This is a money grab! What kind of damage can two eighty year old do to a motel room? The refund doesn't show up for 3-5 business days so the money is being used for some short term investment. The fancy shower had no shelf for a bar or bottle of soap. Shampoo and conditioner were provided. The shower drain was partially blocked so you stood in an inch of water while bathing. NO GRAB BARS. The sink area was tiny and could just about accommodate a toiletries bag. The continental breakfast consisted of a few hard english muffins and several slices of bread. A few pieces of scrambled eggs were in a serving tray, cold, but I don't think they were meant for guests. The trash bins in the breakfast area were overflowing with trash.

My reservation was changed by the hotel chain to Comfort Inn Chambersburg because of an overbooking. The Comfort Inn was very comfortable and affordable. The rooms were clean with microwave, frig, and coffeemaker. The breakfast was very good... Equal to any of the more expensive places I've stayed. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The iced lemon water and beverage bar in the lobby was a nice touch. Also had some food and beverage items available at a very reasonable price. The location was convenient to I81, easy off and on but still quiet. With the exception of breakfast, I didn't have need of anything the other services. I recommend Comfort Inn Chambersburg.

The hotel is under construction. My contract with the staff was under two minutes. The room was clean and quiet, the bed comfortable. There is an adequate restaurant using the same parking lot. For $48.00 a could not ask for more.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I stayed here for 3 nights. They ask for a $50 deposit I gave it to them. They never gave it back. Housekeepers claim there were “dirty” towels. I didn’t shower once there at all because the water pressure was awful so I showered elsewhere. ON TOP OF THAT when I checked in they gave me the key to someone else’s room and I walked in on a man. Not safe at all. When I called about the refundable deposit the lady hung up on me. So spend the extra money on a different hotel because this one isn’t even worth $60 a night.
