"Lovely staff in reception, 6th September man was lovely checking us in and 7th September really kind guy helpful with luggage not part of the reception staff. Clean throughout but rooms run down could have a good refresh as carpets feel dirty and older. Otherwise great gym and location!"

"The property is clean, new and nice. The breakfast selection was way beyond my expectations with a choice of vegetables and fruit, yogurts, salads, even fresh waffles. The staff was also very helpful and nice to deal with. One problem was the water pressure in the shower. The rest was great."

"Friendly staff, and I liked the location, a bit out of the way, but walkable. Loved the room names. My only quibble was the flight of stairs needed to get to an elevator. I managed, but it would create challenge for people with mobility issues."

"So, the initial checkin was a bit on the cold side and the initial room that they gave us had some issues that made it less than what I would have expected from a 4 star property of Mercure. But, we ended up speaking with one of the guest service people, Patricia, who really was a guest service person. She listened to what we had to say and seemed to take our constructive comments seriously. In the end, they changed our room and the stay ended up to be a very nice, comfortable stay. So, her service was outstanding and hopefully her performance and care will be observed and followed by other staff."
