Amazing historical hotel. Shared private bathrooms were no issue -- always clean and felt spacious and luxurious rather than being a drawback. McMenamin's are always consistently comfortable and fun. This was no exception.

The room & communal bathroom were both immaculate. The evening bartender was super attentive & the new-to-me drink a delicious suggestion. However, I tried to order breakfast the following morning (9 am) & there was no staff to be found for seating or ordering so I finally left for the cafe across the parking lot.

I enjoyed my stay at McMenamnins Olympic Club overall. The only thing that I didn't appreciate was the additional $50 fee charged to me at check in in case I were to lose the roomkey, which wasn't included in my initial charges and wasn't communicated to me until I was checking into the hotel. Other than that, it was great!

We love staying at the historic places McMenamin’s has restored! Delicious coffee ready for guests in the morning, robes in each room, a comfortable bed and clean room, a restaurant serving delicious food downstairs, all for $100 a night. Can’t find that anyplace I’d want to stay these days. The clean shared bath and the memories of the train whistle outside our room are a small price to pay for such a memorable night away.

Clean room, morning coffee provided, great local history on the walks, nice movie-burger-bevy combo on Th nights. If your room lock is problematic, remember it is ancient and get a staff memeber. Mine locked me out but the maintenance guy saved the day! Staff is chill and helpful 😉.

Quick trip to the West Side from North Idaho and after a long drive I was so excited we stumbled upon this fun place. The bed was super comfy for a Queen and I even shared with my kid. The train was loud, if your not use to it, but we asked for a fan and the white noise helped us sleep. Even in room 14 right across from the tracks ! We cant wait to come back and be able to explore deeper into this historic hotel - theater - possibly haunted establishment with the rest of our family. I also highly recommend the Juice Box down the way for a great tap selection and what looked like fun stage and seating. FYI - Dont for get to look up!

Better than a regular hotel experience.

If you like an interesting historical place to stay at a very reasonable price this is it.
Great bar and restaurant to eat at near room.
Room has been assigned a historical patron evident in the decore of room.
Cheapest room was very comfortable witj a robe and fresh coffee on hallway in the AM. Important stuff!
