「Really bad experience」

「The private room was very clean and just big enough to stretch out. The air conditioning was very strong. Nikki, the receptionist on duty during our stay, was a wonderful help to us and devoted some of her own time helping us plan our time in Jaco. The pool is lovely, and the hostel owners make a wonderful Gallo Pinto for breakfast every morning.」

「The hostel itself was fine, but I had a serious issue with payment. I paid for my reservation through Expedia and was then charged again by the hostel at check-in for the same booking. I contacted the property through Expedia and by email but received no response. Expedia has opened a case and is investigating the duplicate charge. I hope the matter is resolved soon, but the lack of communication from the hostel has been disappointing.」

「L'endroit est tout simplement magnifique et très bien situé. Pour y entrer, il n'y a pas de réception. N'oubliez pas de leur envoyer un message le plus tôt possible, afin qu'ils vous envoient les instructions à temps. Quand je suis arrivée, je n'avais pas encore reçu les instructions et j'ai eu beaucoup de mal à entrer. Heureusement, des clients m'ont aidée. Merci pour tout! La piscine, les hamacs et les cuisines furent vraiment appréciés!」

「The only good thing about this property is the location. I had a private room. The room looked good when you first enter and it has AC. However, the wifi did not work in my room, only the common area. When I was about to go to bed, I noticed there were ants crawling all over the two beds! There were ants also in the bathroom. I tired to contact the concierge (which are just people in their 20’s working there) but they clock out at 11pm. 」
