"Due to it being off season there were no staff available which is new to us. However, email instructions were satisfactory. Some road traffic noise. The room was fine. Only one robe available. Not a huge deal, but would be expected given the hype. Not as spa like as I was expecting, but having said that, it’s better than hotels within Port Alberni."

"A truly wonderful stay at this golf hotel. The property is beautiful — well-maintained grounds, elegant interiors, and attention to detail throughout. The room was spotless, and housekeeping did an excellent job keeping everything fresh and tidy. What really stood out was the staff’s flexibility — they kindly arranged a late checkout for us without any hassle, which made a big difference. The restaurant experience was also a highlight: great food, attentive service, and a relaxed atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a round of golf. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of, from the amenities to the overall cleanliness of the property. It’s clear the team takes genuine pride in their work. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip. Highly recommended for golfers and leisure travelers alike!"

"The rooms are very clean, the staff is always very friendly and helpful. There is a bbq and with it a running sink. They even have bbq tools so that you’re equipped to do the job. This is such a nice touch and they have also outfitted the patio with comfortable outdoor furniture and substantial umbrellas. I love this place. "

"Stayed here two nights, felt somewhat safe, door looked like it could be opened at anytime. Large room, with very dated furniture, some of the furniture had burn marks on them. Large tv and the bathroom was newly renovated. Parking was a breeze, check in was fast. Had to have key card re-keyed a few times. I did not have any of the continental breakfast, dining only had about 6 tables. Wandered in and wandered out. "

"This property is in the bank of river, close to city and in peaceful set up. The staf is very hospitalised. Nice stay in a quiet environment."

"Spacious, nice & clean place for family or small group under 6 people with living room & kitchen on main floor and bedrooms/bathroom upstair. Beds are comfortable for good sleep. One working EV charger on the pool side."
