"Sails in the Desert - you are paying for the opulence of the reception and the fact you have available but chargeable spa treatments and restaurant that offer a 52 dollar breakfast buffet!
Small pool but kept nicely but even out of season will be busy.
But unfortunately the opulence of an advertised 5* resort does not follow through to the accommodation which at best is equivalent to a dated roadside budget motel.
Save your money and stay somewhere else and what you saved pay for a helicopter flight over rock which will be a more pleasurable memory."
"We had a comfortable stay - the room was clean and spacious for 3 of us. The aircon worked, but the vents didn’t open so it took a while. It’s in a beautiful setting with a great view from the bar at sunset, and very close to the Canyon walks which were the highlight of our stay. Only downside was the lunch and dinner meals which were disappointing. Breakfast buffet had a good range."
