Entering this home late at night we were shocked at what a wonderful home we had rented, beautifully furnished and with great kitchen and facilities. The artwork was impressive. The Bedroom Suite was very large with both a comfortable bed and living area. It had a balcony upon which we enjoyed pisco sours while taking in the ocean views. A short walk to a spectacular private beach made the location even better. The breakfasts served were delicious and generous and brought to our bedroom suite...

The Hostal Rio Amazonas is very centrally-located and walking distance to the Barrio Bellavista (neighborhood) with many restaurants and activities as well as to Metro Lines 1 and 5 (Baquedano station) which connect to most of Santiago. The staff is hospitable, friendly and professional, yet laid-back. I was able to have several conversations (in English) with them. They offer a wonderful, homemade table-service continental breakfast with fresh squeezed pear/kiwi juice. Our room on the...

Friendly staff, exceptionally clean hostal. For budget travelers looking to find a safe, clean, comfortable place to stay I highly recommend La Joya. The front desk staff speak English and Spanish. My stay included breakfast and it was well worth the additional fee. I also ate in the attached restaurant one evening and the portion was enormous and the food was delicious. There was a rooftop balcony that works well if you are a remote worker or just want to relax and meet fellow travelers at the...

Close to airport

Loved this hotel. We came back 3 separate times as Santiago was our home base. For the price we paid, we were very satisfied. Shared bathrooms were not a problem and there were enough that it almost felt like we had our own bathroom. Everything was clean and well maintained. The staff was delightful and very helpful.

There’s a special energy at Black Cat Hostel. Beyond just being clean and comfortable, the staff creates a space that feels more like a community than just a bed for the night. It made my time here unforgettable. If you're coming to town, don't stay anywhere else.

Staff members are friendly and helpful. There is a bar on the property which occasionally gives out free pisco sour. The room is not spacious, and there aren't a lot of amenities, but it is what you'd expect from a hostel. The location is good, being close to a Metro station and several dining options. Overall the experience is pleasant.

The proximity to the metro station is unbeatable. 0 dollars spent on uber or taxis. Makes a big difference at the end of the day.

The room was clean and the staff was attentive.

La propiedad es muy lindo y yo tenía un bueno permanece.

El personal fue muy amable en todo momento. Recomendado.
