We stayed 9 nights in this extraordinary hotel in the heart of Lisbon. First, this 35 room hotel has been entirely restored to its original Art Deco form, including cork floors in the room, beautiful marquetry floors in the lobby, elegant furniture and art work in the lobby and bar. Also the sleek, elegant Art Deco door handles (that are beautiful but not so easily grasped). There is a spectacular breakfast every morning, including traditional Portuguese staples like sardines in olive oil...

I loved this hotel so much! I did not want to leave. I actually felt very down the day we checked out. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but never had such impeccable care. It was above and beyond. Every staff member was at our service. The view and location were amazing. It was a very quiet retreat to return to and within walking distance of everything. I am currently in Porto wishing I was back at my beautiful retreat again. Also, the dining area bar for breakfast and snacks very...

Great location and a brand new hotel. the staff was amazing and the hotel far surpassed our expectations. The hotel is located in Baxia which is the one area in Lisbon that is flat, less than 5 min walk from the water. Highly recommend!

Excelente atención , muy buen desayuno y un lugar cerca del centro de la ciudad , lo recomiendo .

We stayed for 7 nights in the middle of December, 2009. My wife and I really enjoyed this place. The staff was very helpful and the breakfest buffet was something we looked forward to every morning, great American coffee and the pastries were so good! We slept with our windows open and it was a little loud, a number of new clubs are in the area, but still not a bother. We walked to down town, about a 15 minute walk, and an easy walk to the river. There is a bus stop right out side the front...

The quality of service, comfort and overall quality was great. The stuff was very friendly, we are truly impressed about how good it was. The hotel is located in too on a hill right next to the castle of San Jorge, a 10 minutes walk to the city center, not very far from the airport. I highly recommend anyone to stay there.

Wonderful place (restored old mansion), tucked into the winding streets of old town. The rooms and food are top quality, lots of character, and lovely views across the water. The staff is amazing, very kind and interested, always helpful. They suggested a few excellent restaurants just up the street toward the Se church. I can't say enough good things about this place. I can't wait to stay there again.

Great location. Safe. Walking was easy, Uber easy. Good breakfast. Wouldn't upgrade to a tub room, it made showering a bit tough as it's all in one. Would stay here again.
