"We actually left for our second night and got another hotel. We went to talk to staff and no one was at the desk...but the traffic noise was way too much. When we couldnt find a staff member at 4pm on a saturday we just left and went to another hotel. "

"The actual room I had at this location was nowhere near what the photos made it out to look like. My stay at this location started out rocky when I checked in and found out that the room I had just moved my luggage into hadn't been cleaned yet after the previous visitor. The cleaning staff member who came to tidy up was irritated that I was in the unit before it was cleaned, then I had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes until she was done. The room and the building are somewhat rundown, but if you need a quick place to stay for a night or two, it would work. Besides the one cleaning staff member I interacted with, the rest of the employees were courteous/nice, and the location is close to all kinds of restaurants and a mall."

"We stayed at this property for two nights, while on a little staycation with our three little kids. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, with kitchen, and it was perfect size, clean and well laid out (one room on either side of a living room/kitchen. Hotel was close to lots of restaurants, and only a 12min drive to the children’s museum / the Factory. I called the hotel in advance and they put our requested two cribs in the room for our arrival. The breakfast area downstairs does not have highchairs - just an FYI. The only downside of this hotel was the pool- which was a must for our kids. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in many many months. It had floating debris on top not being picked up by the filter (likely because the filter hadn’t been checked…) there was so much debris sunk to the bottom by the stairs it actually looked a different colour and was disgusting. We did ask them to skim the top, but I’m not sure the staff knew why I was asking. If you’re not planning on using the pool, the hotel was great, in an excellent safe location and very friendly staff. "

"Seniors should go mid week to avoid the family crowds at the pool and whirlpool. Young families had a ball and some played hooky from school and work on Monday to continue the fun. We stayed in South wing, and it needs updating and mattress replaced. (still acceptable) and was told by staff it was being scheduled for later in the year. North wing already remodeled. Restaurant on site was good. We will go back again next winter. Only a 2 hr drive and better then going south."

"The gentleman at the front desk made it extremely difficult for the hotel guests to watch the Olympic men’s hockey gold medal game. He eventually put it on but it was a challenge "
