Wonderful staff - all friendly and so helpful.
Fantastic room which was kept extremely clean and tidy by the awesome cleaning and turn down staff. The A/C kept the room consistently cool and comfy too! The amenities and resort overall were beautiful! Matachica has a very calm and peaceful vibe. I can’t recommend it enough! (Especially for a honeymoon or extra special trip of a different sort)
The excursions offered at the resort are exceptional and run by the staff at the resort. They are convenient and reasonably priced. If there is anything else you want to do that they don’t offer, they are extremely helpful in getting things setup to make sure you see whatever you want!
The sargassum is expected at this time of year but they had a crew working tirelessly all day to keep the beaches from filling up with weeds. The hard work done by the crew made a huge difference and the smell overall was very minimal throughout our 8 day stay.
