"A clean and somewhat quiet resort in a lovely area of south of town. We had everything we needed provided for us in the villa. The pools and loungers were right outside our room. The pool bartender, Edwin, was an added bonus with his craft cocktails and friendly service. Highly recommend Hol Chan Reef Resort & Villas"

"The property is beautiful! It was clean and comfortable! The staff were helpful and honest! We lost an expensive item (it fell off our golf cart because we didn’t think about tying bags down when driving) and a staff member from their sister location found it and turned it into the office of our location. "The staff was amazing everyone of them was helpful! 15 minutes to secret beach, restaurant and little store just north 3 minutes on a golf cart. We will be back! "

"Beautiful Beach & Pool. Northern location was perfect. Management team, Manuel took very good care of us. Security at night was present and everyone was so nice. This was a very clean place. "Overall the property was quite nice; however there was construction going on each day that was never communicated to us prior to scheduling this visit. The unit itself was quite nice, but several windows could not lock due to broken latches, and one widow couldn't close all the way posing a safety hazard since it was accessible from our deck. One of the beds had a hair in the sheets when pulled back. The cooktop wasn't very clean. Also, the property manager called me while we were in customs...

"Just be mindful of windy and seaweed season. Otherwise perfect location. Property is a little older whoever well maintained and clean. The kitchen has most of what we needed and full size fridge. "

"Blu Zen was amazing ! The property itself is beautiful ! The 3 pools are nice and clean. They are still adding onto the property so there is construction going on but not close enough to be a bother. The beach part of the resort is not big but also enough for my son to build sand castles and dig. There are no sun loungers on the beach but I didn’t mind. There are two pools right behind the beach. There is a lot of seaweed but they do a good job of cleaning it up. Our 2 bedroom condo was spacious and very clean. No complaints at all. The laundry in unit was super convenient. The ferry to the main island is also very convenient. The two restaurants are good but the food on the main island is worth the 5 min boat ride. The staff is super nice and helpful, Jairo made us feel right at home, he was amazing. The pools were never packed. Some days we had it all to ourselves. I can’t rave about this place enough. "

"We loved that many of the staff members remembered our names. Henry, the awesome pool bartender along with all of the other bar tenders were amazing. Also, Minnie at, The Deck and Caroline, our cabana waitress were amazing. We also loved that the young lady that cleaned our room was so meticulous. We made our bed each morning, but we noticed she came in and remade it the correct way. The concierge team and the gentleman at the front door were all extremely professional. My husband and I agreed that Belize has been one of the BEST vacations we've ever had and it had a lot to do with the employees at Alaia. Thanks again for being so amazing. "
