The hotel needs a lot of work around the grounds. There is so much potential and the golf resort in particular needs a lot of attention. It’s the first thing you see when you drive up to the hotel and it’s rather underwhelming and disappointing. Everything is there for you to maximise! Put the money into developing the grounds and it will pay off big time! The hotel is lovely and the food was very good but remember, first impressions last when you first arrive at a place. Such a beautiful setting but it’s not been nurtured enough as yet. You can do it Farnham Estate owners!!

Pleasant Stay
Nice stay but Hotel was too crowded. Booking Restaurants was difficult. The Bar areas are limited and service was poor. The Spa area is very enjoyable and the trail walks are nice.

Got charged twice for one night one by Expedia then hotel charged said had issued refund still not received after about 3 phone calls two which said will call back then last phone call which said sorting refund and still not received will be calling again today but ridiculous having to chase get a refund through their mistake off charging again . Also called room service said would call back take order never did. Very disappointing

Great hotel let down by the bar
Amazing hotel, lovely grounds, lovely spa, delicious food and wine. However, third time visiting and always feel the same that the downstairs bar really lets the place down. Poor selection of beer and cocktails. The cocktail my wife ordered was so badly made had to send it back only to be replaced with an awful house white which she didn't finish. Small blip in an otherwise fantastic stay though.

This hotel and spa is superb and excellent value for money. Staff are very friendly and really helpful. The restaurant put on a marvellous breakfast in the morning and then in the evening you can go there for a fine dining experience. Facilities and spa are outstanding and there is also a gym. You also have the option to play golf on a magnificent parkland course. All in all a wonderful place to stay for a few days.
