"Stayed in the original part of the building, very nice indeed. Only saw the original part of the hotel , didn’t use the pool etc. gardens nice and lots of seating. Could do with a bit of TLC in areas, windows cleaned , outside lamps glass cleaned.just to enhance the property. Staff very pleasant ..."

"This is an amazing property in a lovely city. Part of The Coaching Inns Group, they are unique historic places with excellent service and fabulous food. There is no elevator, but they graciously moved our heavier luggage."

Sparse, very basic but clean
"We found the property clean but lacking, certainly not "Superb". The decor was sparse e.g. bare light bulbs. Negatives Bathroom: no mirror, no towel rails, only one hand towel in the property for three. Kitchen: Two sets of knives & forks for three, no large glasses or wine glasses, no fire blanket/extinguisher, ..."
