No expense was spared here. Our room was tiny but felt extremely plush with new light carpeting, fluffy white pillows and bedding. Tea and cakes tucked away in the cabinet for us. The dining room is very elegant and the food amazing, I had the smoked salmon with eggs and the portion was enough for two people. My aunt had the waffles and said they were the best she ever had.

This quiet property is a little off the beaten path yet close to everything on Dingle Peninsula. It has a beautiful view of the bay. It is very affordable, the rooms have nice touches and the breakfast is wonderful. This is our third time to stay there and we love the staff.

Best of the 6 places we stayed in Ireland

My family and I spent a week touring Ireland, staying in 2 hotels and 4 B&B's in Dublin, near Cork, in Castlegregory, in Shannon, and near Galway. Without question, our best experience was here at the Shores B&B in Castlegregory! Annette and her staff made us feel right at home. We loved the relaxing views of the ocean in front and the peaceful hills in the back. The ocean view from the dining room is amazing, and breakfast was above and beyond anywhere else we stayed. Castlegregory is the perfect place to get away from the busy city streets and walk the beach or take a leisurely drive through the mountains. The sights through Conor pass and along the Dingle peninsula are breathtaking. We hope to revisit Ireland and next time book a longer stay at the Shores B&B.

Beautiful location, wonderful accommodations

Absolutely gorgeous place. We had a small apartment that had everything you could need. The proprietress was great and the view is amazing. We highly recommend this place!!

I recently stayed in this property and it excelled all of my expectations, from the moment i arrived i was made feel welcome, the propeery itself is exceptional, spotlessly clean, and has everuthing you could wish for, inc.complimentary homemade fruitbread in your room, its not often that i am speeches but the views from my room were spectacular and with the most stunning beach less than 5 minutes away you can not go wrong with The shores guesthouse. Theyre are also fantastic restaurants close by and the beautuful dingle is a short drive away Annette and Jose made exceptional efforts to make sure all my needs where met whilst being lucky enough to stay in this wonderful guest house

Couldn’t have been a nicer place to stay. The Shores is like a 5 Star accommodation. Annette is a class act. You can see by all the details in the lovely B&B. Our room had all the comforts of home. It was squeaky clean. Breakfast was incredible. Simply cannot say enough about this beautiful place. The ocean is right across the street so the views are just incredible. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We cannot wait to return!

Where to begin. Spectacular setting. Ocean view past patchwork pastures leading down to the shore. So clean, beautifully furnished, and decorated that when I opened the door to walk in I hesitated. Actually considered removing my shoes. The breakfasts were superb. Our flight out required us to leave very early on our final day. The evening before our last day we informed the owner, Annette, that we want to check out and arrange payment that evening. She was happy to oblige and asked if she could give us a breakfast tray that evening. Sounded good to us. About ten minutes later she returned with cereal, fruit, brown bread, butter, a small drip coffee pot ready for hot water, and a thermos style carafe of milk. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Annette and her staff are wonderful. If you will be on or near the Dingle peninsula you must consider the Shores Country House Bed & Breakfast.

This our second year staying at The Shores. Everything is perfect. We travel extensively and stay at a myriad of B&Bs. The Shores is by far the best, in all categories. The location (views) the owner (Annette) and her fantastic staff and the cleanliness of the rooms coupled with the truly “Best breakfast in Ireland” make for an unforgettable stay. You would do yourself well to stay here and enjoy their every attention to detail. Truly an enjoyable experience......

Outstanding B&B on Dingle Peninsula!

What a lovely place!! The hostess was so kind and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean, and the location was great - very quiet and close to Dingle and the Slea Head Drive. Excellent service, elegant decor, and such a warm welcome. Can’t recommend it highly enough.
